1. Who We Are & Scope
Yūzen Matcha (“Yūzen”, “we”, “us”) is a brand operated by YM Tea Nursery LLP, based in India, working with both individual customers and business partners (cafés, hotels, bakeries, etc.).
These Terms govern your use of our website and any purchases you make from us, whether D2C (direct‑to‑consumer) or B2B (business / wholesale). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
If you represent a business and have a signed commercial agreement with us, that agreement will prevail over these Terms where they conflict.
2. Customers: D2C vs B2B

D2C Customers: You purchase for personal use only and not for resale.

B2B Customers: You purchase for use in your business (e.g., beverages, desserts, retail packs). Pricing, volumes, credit terms, and service levels may be set out in separate proposals, POs, or contracts in addition to these Terms.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or acting with parental/guardian consent and, for B2B, that you have authority to bind your organisation.
3. Orders, Pricing & Payments

All orders are subject to our acceptance and product availability.

Prices are listed in INR and may change at any time until an order is confirmed. Taxes and shipping charges are shown at checkout or in your commercial quote.

Payments are processed via third‑party gateways or as per your B2B payment terms; we are not responsible for issues caused by these external services.

For B2B, additional documents (POs, email confirmations, MSAs) form part of the contract between us.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

We currently ship to selected locations within India.

Indicative delivery timelines are shown at checkout or in your order confirmation; these are estimates only.

Once we hand over your order to the logistics partner, delays caused by them or by events beyond our control (weather, strikes, etc.) are not our responsibility.

For B2B shipments, risk typically passes on dispatch from our warehouse or as otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Because matcha is a food product, we follow strict safety standards:
For D2C customers

No returns or refunds for opened or used products.

We may offer an exchange or replacement (or, at our discretion, store credit) if:

the product arrives damaged,

the wrong item is sent, or
-
there is a genuine manufacturing / packing defect.

You must contact us within 10 business days of delivery with order details and photos.
For B2B partners

Returns, refunds, and credits are governed by your commercial agreement and applicable food safety laws.

Quality concerns must be raised promptly on receipt with supporting evidence so we can investigate.
We do not accept returns solely for minor sensory variations that are normal for an agricultural product.
6. Product Information & Health Disclaimer

We work to describe origin, cultivars and grades accurately, but natural variation in colour, aroma and flavour is expected.

Our matcha contains caffeine and other bioactive compounds. Any references to focus, calm or “Energy Reimagined” are informational only and not medical claims.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or are sensitive to caffeine, consult a qualified health professional before use.
7. Acceptable Use of the Website
You agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data.

Introduce viruses, bots, or malicious code, or scrape the site without permission.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

All text, images, product copy, designs, code and trademarks on the site (including “Yūzen Matcha” and “Energy Reimagined”) are owned by YM Tea Nursery LLP or our licensors.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the website or our products.

10. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
